Friday afternoon (after having lunch and taking a short rest from the Dubai Terry Fox Run), Hubby and I had a group date at Sahara Centre in Sharjah with some of the other KFC Parent Coordinators of our cluster to watch the most awaited Pinoy movie of that weekend. To avoid the rush, the tickets had already been reserved earlier that week, and that morning, we had all given Tita Madz our payments so she was able to buy the tickets on their way home after the Run.
We all arrived promptly, so while waiting to be allowed to enter the cinema, we each ordered snacks that we could munch on. Finally, we went in and settled in our seats. I really liked "A Very Special Love" and "You Changed My Life," so I expected "It Takes a Man and a Woman" to be as good or better. And I wasn’t disappointed.
Sobrang nakakakilig ang story! Nakaka-iyak pa! In short...nakakaiyak sa kilig! Naging gwapo uli si John Lloyd sa paningin ko...especially when Miggy cried while waiting for Laida at the altar. Haaaaaay! Hahaha!
For sure it was mainly the women who enjoyed the movie, so I really appreciate the husbands who agreed to accompany us and endured our giggles, laughter, shrieks and tears for 2 hours. It was a feel-good movie that wasn’t scary, heart-pounding, or stressful...a great way to relax and spend time with Hubby.

Update #1: It's 2:55am on the 22nd of April and I just finished watching "A Very Special Love" online. Haaay! Nakakakilig at nakakatuwa pa rin ang original =)
Update #2: 2:16am on the 23rd of April...and you guessed it: I just finished watching "You Changed My Life." Para akong loka-loka na tumatawa at umiiyak mag-isa kanina habang nanonood sa laptop =)
