Before going home last night, Hubby and I passed by a pharmacy and supermarket to buy some things. As we were walking back to our car, I saw a familiar face and, although I knew she didn’t know me, I wanted to stop and say “hi” to her. So I did. And I finally met the woman behind Sandier Pastures, a blog about the life of a working mom in Dubai.
I admit I was a bit hesitant to approach her at first. What if she snubbed me? Or worse, thought I was going to do them harm? But Grace was actually really nice. She was surprised when I introduced myself to her and told her that I follow her…her blog, that is. Then she introduced me to her husband and her adorable baby boy, Ben, and asked if I lived around that area as well. It was just a brief chat, but a pleasant meeting just the same.
You can check out Grace’s interesting and informative blog here.

Hi! Thanks for the mention and if I sound nice on the blog, I am nicer in person (as my baby). *cough*
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I am always surprised at how a small place Dubai is. But thanks for saying hi rather than hesitating. I love to meet people who read my blog! :)
You're welcome, Grace. And thanks for being nice. See you around! :)
