her first disney experience

Over the weekend, my family and I went to MOE to watch Mickey’s Amazing Adventure. I was excited, not for myself, but for Caila since she’s a real Disney fan. Unfortunately, we were late, arriving just as the show started, and being a Friday, the place was packed. After several unsuccessful attempts of getting a glimpse of what was happening on the stage, we decided to just walk around the mall and wait for the next show. 10 minutes later, we ended up near the side, and although it wasn’t the best, we were able to enjoy the rest of the first show from where we stood. Of course, Caila enjoyed herself immensely while she was seated on her father’s shoulders. She saw all her favorite Disney characters, even waving to them when they happened to face our area. When Donald Duck came out, she immediately put her hands around her mouth and called out shouted “DUCK!” She was really starstruck...it was so cute! The entire show lasted about 45 minutes, and since we had watched most of it (and the crowd was getting thicker), hubby decided that it was enough. So, after a few minutes of window shopping around the mall, we went home, leaving the Disney magic behind.
For Ate Cel, it was her first time to see them up close; hubby’s first encounter with them was last year during a kid’s birthday party; and if I hadn't participated in the World Youth Day in Germany last 2005, I wouldn’t have met them at EuroDisney. As for Caila, she was able to see Mickey and the other Disney characters when she’s just 2 years old. Kids are so lucky these days!
Mickey’s Amazing Adventure will run everyday at 4:30pm, 7pm and 9pm until the 31st of March at the Mall of the Emirates Galleria. It’s definitely a magical musical treat for people of all ages. By the way, it’s free!
